Mantra for a Peaceful Lockdown
Last year in the month of March a nationwide lockdown was imposed. Apparently we all were happy until the ennui set in. The lockdown has been egregious with reduced social interaction and increased social media! The social media was flooded with messages related to the virus some of them were true but most of them….you know it, were false! News channels were with their peak numbers then, and mental peace was lost with death of loved ones. As a student studying with these worries was a difficult task especially when the horizons of knowledge were restricted to online medium! The digital media lead to lack of concentration and mental peace! Mental peace! I had been in these shoes during the last wave and I was suggested meditation. At first this idea of meditating didn’t please me but the results were way better once I had begun.
